James C. Edwards

James C. Edwards age 71, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday June 13th, at 7:00 pm at his residence in Claypool, IN. On June 6th, 1941 James was born to Toye and Bell (Hashman) Edwards in Pound, VA. James was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County for past fifty years residing in Leesburg and Claypool. James was a member of the Warsaw Eagles, and the Veterans of Foreign Warsaw Post 1126 in Warsaw. James retired from the local Uniroyal plant in Warsaw as a Machine Operator in 1981. James served our country in the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1961. James is survived by his son Tom Edwards of Claypool, IN.; a daughter Sherri Wright of Claypool, IN.; two sisters Phillys Lakey of Leesburg, IN.; and Zora (spouse Terry) Massing of Spartarsburg, SC. James also is survived by four grandchildren, Shanna Wright of Warsaw, IN.; Tiffany (Spouse Tyler) Deardorff of Vacaville, CA.; Shane Wright of Warsaw, IN.; and Travis Edwards of Claypool, IN. James has three great grandchildren, Kenadi and Zecharias Wright and De’ Shun Hayes. James was preceded in death by his parents and one brother and two sisters. Funeral services for James will be held at Monday June 18th, 2012 at 1:00pm at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Visitation will be on Monday June 18th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm prior to the funeral service at the Funeral Chapel Warsaw. Chaplain Doug West will be officiating the service.
