James B. Benson Jr.

James B. Benson Jr., 74 of Claypool, Indiana passed away at 9:00 am Monday, June 10, 2013 in his residence. On October 4, 1938, he was born in Mishawaka, Indiana to James and Goldie (Klietz) Benson Sr. James lived most of his life in Kosciusko County where he was employed by Dalton Foundry, Warsaw for thirty years and then drove semi for ten years. He enjoyed watching sports and was a big Notre Dame fan. He was also a very generous and giving person. He is survived by three daughters, Chris Benson Sampson, Logansport, Vicky Benson Peterla, Warsaw and Nikki (and spouse Rob) Rose, Claypool; nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, an aunt, a nephew, a niece and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother. A funeral service will be at 1:00 pm Friday, June 14, 2013 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Burial will be at a later date.
