Jacqueline O. Walter

Jacqueline O. Walter, 96 of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 5:35 pm Tuesday, September 27, 2016 in Millers Merry Manor, Warsaw. On September 26, 1920, she was born in Marion, Indiana to Arthur and Irene (Phillips) Wiley. She was united in marriage to Chester Walter, who preceded her in death. Jacqueline was a graduate of Marion High School, Marion and also a member of Eastern Star. She worked as a bank teller for First National Bank from 1944 until her retirement in 1988. She is survived by two sons, Phillip Walter, Warsaw and Paul Richard Walter, Bristol; her brother, Ralph Wiley, Ocala, Florida; four grandchildren, Ryan (and spouse Kim) Walter, Brighton, Colorado, Bradley (and spouse Ann) Walter, Knoxville, Tennessee, Justin (and companion Adrianne) Walter, Warsaw, Andy (and spouse Carol) Walter, Georgetown, Texas and eight great grandchildren. Jacqueline was also preceded in death by her son, Joseph Walter; four brothers, Vern Wiley, LaVelle Wiley, Arthur Gale Wiley and Charles Wiley. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, October 5, 2016 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with Chaplain Bob Jarboe officiating. Burial will be in Grant Memorial Park, Marion. Visitation hours will be from 4:00 – 8:00 pm Tuesday, October 4, 2016 in the funeral chapel.
