Jack R. Borton, 63 of 206 S. 5th St., Pierceton, IN, died on Sunday, May 29, 2011 at 3:55 a.m. in Parkview Hospital, Ft. Wayne. IN.He was born on June 28, 1947 in Linton, IN to Francis and Alberta (Dayhuff) Borton.He has lived in Pierceton since 1980. He married Pauline Alvey on December 24, 1969 in Bremen, IN.Jack was the owner of Borton Carpet Cleaning for many years. He also worked for Dana Corp. for 12 years. He was a member of the Pierceton Lions Club and Sons of the American Legion.Jack enjoyed fishing, Notre Dame Sports, going to Auctions and garage sales. He loved to “wheel and deal”.He is survived by his wife Pauline of Pierceton, His children Leslie (and spouse Edee) Howell of Chicago, IL, Leo (and spouse Judy) Howell of Sarasota, FL., James (and spouse Cathy) Howell of College Station, TX., Suzanne (and spouse Dennis) Kraus of Nappanee, IN., Chris Berger of Pierceton, IN., Mark (and spouse Cheryl) Berger of Plymouth, IN., Tammy Riddle of Osceola, IN. and Lori Dale of Lakeville, IN.Jack’s twin sister, Jill Pardue of Sullivan, IN. Sisters Debbie (and spouse Jim) Ashcraft of Wiggins, MS And Rachel (and spouse Mark) Craig of Bloomfield, IN. numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews.Preceded by 2 brothers.Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Pierceton. Visitation is scheduled from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., June 1, 2011 at the Pierceton Funeral Chapel. Pastor Terry Bradford and Father Leonard Alvey will officiate the services.
