Jack C. Harris, 62, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 1, 2025 in Warsaw.
Born in Elwood, Indiana, Jack was the son of Jack and Delores (Griese) Harris. He graduated from Wabash High School with the class of 1981.
In First Christian Church in Peru, Indiana, Jack took as his bride, Thania Colgrove. They were blessed to share 42 years together and raise their son, Marcus.
Jack worked at Dalton Foundry as a general maintenance technician for 29 years.
He was a hardworking man, and made sure to instill that in his son and grandchildren. Jack loved putting model kits together and enjoyed watching horror movies with his fur child on his lap, Twilight. He was a member of the Warsaw Citizens Police Academy, a course he truly enjoyed doing.
Jack is survived by his wife, Thania, of Warsaw; his son, Marcus (Jeanette) Harris of Wabash; grandchildren, Kordyn and Mayson; siblings: Cecil (Jessica) Harris of North Manchester and Malinda (Chris) Mattern of Wabash as well as several nieces and nephews; his great friend, Bruce Lackey; and his fur children: Twilight, Colt, Kimber and Calico.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Julie Harris and Angela Oaks.
Family burial will take place at a later date in the Memorial Lawns Cemetery in Wabash.
