Jack D. Kizer, age 87 of Warsaw, Indiana passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 4:25 p.m. in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. He was born on August 3, 1925 in Mishawaka, Indiana to Earl and Charlotte (Buchwold) Kizer. He married Joan Dibble on November 25, 1950 in South Bend. He was a 1943 graduate of Mishawaka High School. Jack retired from South Bend Lathe after 30 years. He was a Vice President of Purchasing. He was a member of the Mishawaka Elks and Morris Park Country Club. He moved from South Bend to Warsaw in 2010 to be close with his beloved family. Jack is survived by his wife Joan D. Kizer of Warsaw; his daughter Jill (and spouse Steve) Beehler and a son James D.(and spouse Candace) Kizer both of Warsaw; grandchildren, Katie (and spouse Maximilian) Maile of Warsaw, Kiel Beehler of North Carolina, Alan Kizer of Pierceton and Sabrina Kizer of Indianapolis; one great grandchild Benjamin Ryan Maile. He is also survived by four brothers Dick, Norman,Jerry and Lanny Kizer all of Mishawaka. He is preceded in death by 5 sisters, Margaret Schalliol, Maxine Bendit, Betty Morris, Joan Klug, and Nancy Kizer; and two brothers Captain Robert Kizer and James E. Kizer. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 20, 2013 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A one hour visitation will be held on Monday, January 21, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the St Joseph Valley Memorial Park Chapel, Granger, IN. Services are private.
