Jack D. Hurt age 63, of Warsaw passed away on Tuesday February 4th, 2014 at 11:12 pm at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN. On June 10th, 1950 Jack was born to Hershel and Mary Bell (Blevins) Hurt in Prestonsburg, KY. He lived most of his life in Kosciusko County. Jack worked for Superior Wood Products, Warsaw for twenty five years as a finisher. Jack started Hurt Music Productions and was involved in publishing music. Jack enjoyed fishing, rebuilding computers, taking of photographs and family history. He loved his grandchildren, his dog Isabelle and Christmas time with the family. During the summer time, Jack was always enjoying time in his great garden. Jack is survived by his daughter, Kristi (spouse Bud) Ault, Warsaw; three sons, Jackie DJ (companion Tina Miller) Hurt Jr., North Webster; Shane (spouse Raeann) Hurt, Pierceton, and Kyle Robertson, Pierceton. A Fiancé, Janet Best, Warsaw; and seven grandchildren, Derek, Daken and Dawson; Taylor and Jacob; Jaedann and Daityn. Jack is also survived by his two brothers, Robert (spouse Rhonda) Hurt, Rochester, and Junior (spouse Sue) Hurt, Atwood along with his sisters Sue (spouse John) Caldwell, LaGrange and Shirley (spouse Randy) Johnson, Warsaw. Jack was preceded in death by his Mother and Father, sister Angie Weirick. Funeral services for Jack will be held at Saturday February 8th, 2014 at 11:00am at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with Pastor Gale Janofski officiating the service. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. Visitation will be on Friday, February 7th from 2:00pm - 4:00 pm and 6:00pm - 8:00 pm at the Funeral Chapel Warsaw. Family has asked for memorials to be made out to the Kosciusko County Cancer Care Fund, PO box 1810, Warsaw, IN 46580 in memory of his sister, Angie Weirick..
