Jack A. Doll, 87 of Leesburg, Indiana passed away at 4:30 am Wednesday, November 30, 2016 in Parkview Whitley Hospital, Columbia City, Indiana. He was born May 5, 1929 to Clarence S. and Martha M. (Gumm) Doll in Rock Island, Illinois. Both have preceded him in death. On October 14, 1961, he married Sally J. Thomas who survives him. Jack served our country honorably in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He graduated from United Township High School, East Moline, Illinois. He then attended the University of Mississippi and graduated from Ohio State University. Jack was a member of Sigma Nu social fraternity; Phi Eta Sigma scholastic honorary fraternity; Delta Sigma Pi professional business fraternity and the Cosmopolitan Club of Springfield, Illinois. He served as a director of Lake Tippecanoe Property Owners Association for over twenty five years. He was awarded the Distinguished Lake Tippecanoe Honoree 2009. Jack retired from the National Gypsum Company as national accounts zone manager. He is also survived by two sons Boyd T. Doll and John C. Doll, Lake Tippecanoe; a daughter, Kathleen Doll – Noblitt, Columbus, Georgia; seven grandchildren, Eric Doll, Mark Doll, Samantha Doll, Sarah Noblitt, Jack Doll, John Noblitt and David Noblitt. A graveside service will be held at 9:00 am Tuesday, December 6, 2016 in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw with Chaplain Mark Fishburn officiating and military honors provided by American Legion Post #49 and VFW Post #1126, Warsaw. Visitation hours will be from 5:00 – 8:00 pm Monday, December 5, 2016 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
