Irene I. Konkle, 89, of 5335 West County Road 700 South Claypool, Indiana, died on 9/22/2009 at 7:45 PM at her residence. She was born on July 8, 1920 in Palmer Saskatchewan, Canada. Irene was born to Arthur and Erma (Jones) Golden. She lived most of her life in the Warsaw area. Irene marrie Leslie Konkle on October 4, 1940 in Bourbon, Indiana. He preceded her in death on September 14, 1976.Irene worked as a punch press operator for Sun Metal Products, retiring after 33 years of service. She was a member of Calvary Tabernacle of Warsaw and was also affiliated with the Pentecostal Church for 80 years. She was past secretary of the Ladies Auxiliary of the United Pentecostal Church and also played the piano at the church for 7 years.Irene is survived by 4 Sons;Leslie R. Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Indiana on Friday, September 25, 2009 at 10:00 am with Pastor Rich Maron officiating.. Calling hours will be 4:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral chapel on Thursday, September 24, 2009. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, Indiana. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.
