Iona Fretz

Iona Fretz age 78, of Warsaw, IN passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 2:30 PM in Kosciusko Community Hospital. She was born February 9, 1943 in Plymouth, IN to Edgar and Mildred (Evans) Clark. Iona was united in marriage to Donald Fretz on April 22, 1961 in Warsaw, Indiana. He preceded her on December 23, 2009. A Warsaw resident since 1960, she operated a home day care for 40 years. She attended Trinity United Methodist Church. Furthermore, she was a member of the Good Sam Club Chapter 47, Warsaw, The Dalton Club and was a long time Auxiliary Member of the Warsaw Fire Department. Iona was an avid camper. She is survived by a daughter Kim Fretz of Warsaw, a son Joe (Amanda) Fretz of Leesburg, a sister Martha Baldridge of Ft. Lauderdale and grandchildren Meghan (Logan) De Maa of Fond du Lac, WI and Brayton Fretz of Leesburg. She was preceded by siblings Nora Stephens and Edgar, Jr and John Clark. Visitation hours are scheduled from 1:00 to 4:00 PM Sunday, December 12, 2021 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Her Funeral Service will be held Monday, December 13, 2021 at 11:00 AM in McHatton-Sadler Funeral with Pastor Layne Sumner officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
