Ina “Jeanette” Mast, 73 of Apache Junction, Arizona and of Pierceton, Indiana passed away at 2:02 am Friday, February 5, 2016 in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. On March 5, 1942, she was born in Warsaw to John B. and Vera M. (Rule) Homan. She was united in marriage to Rex D. Mast in South Whitley, Indiana on June 3, 1960, who survives. Jeanette worked as a lighting consultant for Wabash Electric for seven years and then for Kendall Electric for thirteen years, where she retired. She also was a consultant for Home Interiors for many years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Pierceton, where she was president of Women’s Fellowship, a member of the Fellowship Committee and a member of the church choir. She was also a member of Red Hat Society “Diamond”, Arizona for two years and past president of Pierceton Fireman’s Auxiliary, which she had been a member for thirty five years. In the last few years, Jeanette became a member of a theatre troupe in Arizona. She is survived by her husband, Rex D. Mast, Apache Junction, Arizona; her daughter, Lisa A. Mast, Warsaw; two sons, Kevin (and Myra) E. Mast, Pierceton and Darrel D. Mast, South Whitley; her mother, Vera Homan, Winona Lake; four grandchildren, Heather (and Ken) Gero, Havelock, North Carolina, David Sainer, Pierceton, Jared (and spouse Emma) Sainer, Warsaw, Stephanie (and Randy Rose) Campbell, Pierceton; seven great grandchildren, Brock Sainer, Warsaw, Calvin Ballard, Havelock, North Carolina, Miley Ballard, Havelock, North Carolina, Jaycie Mast, Arizona, Irelynn Pearl Gero, Havelock, North Carolina, Griffin Rose, Pierceton, Ashlynn Sainer, Warsaw and her sister-in-law, Alberta Mast, Florida. Jeanette was preceded in death by her dad and her grandson Derrik Mast. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, February 9, 2016 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with Pastor Mark Fishburn officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. Visitation hours will be from 3:00 – 7:00 pm, Monday, February 8, 2016 at the funeral chapel.
