Ida M. Dotson

Ida M. Dotson, age 83, of Akron, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2020 at 3:55 AM in Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw, Indiana. Ida was born December 15, 1936 in Floyd County, Kentucky to Richard “Dick” and Ellen (Brown) Robinson. She was united in marriage to Andrew Dotson on December 24, 1974 in Floyd Co, Kentucky, who preceded her in death in 1991. She has been a resident of Fulton County, IN since 1974. She worked as a machine operator for Bryan Manufacturing, North Manchester, IN. Ida was a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle Church in Claypool, IN. Ida is survived by children, Diane (Jaime) Lozano of Warsaw, IN, Faye (Thomas) Bradford of Mentone, IN, William Jack Dotson of Cave Creek, AZ, Charlene (Paul) Kramer of Ft. Wayne, IN; 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew Dotson, sons, Andy Dotson, Robert Carl Clemons; 7 brothers and 4 sisters. A visitation for Ida will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 from 2:00 PM -7:00 PM at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 15, 2020 at 12:00 PM Noon at Dotson Family Cemetery, Floyd Co., Kentucky. Burial will take place at the Dotson Family Cemetery.
