Howard “Bub” Patrick

Howard “Bub” Patrick, age 69, of Claypool, Indiana passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at 1:36 PM in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. He was born on November 15, 1949 in Salyersville, Kentucky to Monroe and Rosalie (Hale) Patrick. He was a lifelong resident of Kosciusko County. On October 5, 2006 he was united in marriage to Dianna Diehl in Winona Lake, Indiana. He proudly served his country in the United States Army for 20 years and obtained the rank of Sergeant First Class as an E-7. When he was finished with his military career Bub continued working when he returned home. He was the owner of Warsaw Muffler and Brake and also worked at Ben’s Auto. He was a member of the American Legion Post #49. Some of his hobbies that he enjoyed were; flying airplanes, drag racing (especially his 1970 Camaro “Thumper”), RC airplanes, fishing, and karaoke signing. He was also an animal lover and he loved his family dearly. He is survived by his wife; Dianna Patrick of Claypool, step-son; Dustin Norris of Moore, OK, step-daughter; Danae Norris of Claypool, grandson; Thomas Danner of Warsaw, sisters; Virginia Smith and Teresa Rhoades, brothers; Charlie Patrick and James Patrick also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son; Todd Danner, and 2 brothers; Carl and Earl Patrick. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 31, 2019 from 12:00 Noon to 5:00 PM in Some Place Else Saloon, Claypool, IN. Interment will be private and McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel is entrusted with all arrangements.
