Hildegard Waschkies

Hildegard Waschkies, 86 of Warsaw passed away Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 10:40 a.m. in her residence. She was born on November 20, 1927 to Eugene and Anna (Vogel) Kleesattel in Heilbronn, Germany. She came to America in 1955 and then moved to Warsaw in 1957. She married Horst H. Waschkies in 1955. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Warsaw First United Methodist for many years and a member of Lambda Chi Omega Chapter. Hildegard is survived by her daughters Debra Allen of Fort Wayne and Karen (and spouse Jim) Higgins of Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin; a son John Waschkies of Atlanta, Georgia; grandchildren, Zoe and Nick Higgins of Whitefish, Wisconsin; Quinn and Jarrad Allen of Pierceton. She is preceded in death by her husband. A celebration of Hildegard life will be held at McHatton- Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Chaplain Bob Jarboe will officiate the service. A One hour Visitation will be held prior to the service on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
