Helen Mort

Helen Mort, age 85, 0f Pierceton, Indiana passed away Monday, July 23, 2018 at 12:28 AM in Parkview-Randalia Hospital Fort Wayne, IN. She was born October 29, 1932 in Chicago, IL to Frank and Justine (Radostits) Augustine. Helen was a 78-year resident of Whitley and Kosciusko Counties. She was united in marriage to Paul Mort in 1951 who preceded her in 1985. She was formerly employed by Pletcher’s Market and Pierceton Foods as a bookkeeper and most recently was the receptionist for Mort’s Chiropractic Clinic of Pierceton. She was a 1950 graduate of Whitley High School and member of First Baptist Church, Pierceton. Survivors include her children David Mort of Pierceton, Phillip (spouse Diane) Mort of Santa Clara, CA and Dr. Susan Mort of Pierceton. In addition, grandchildren Christopher, Timmy, Alison, Tara, William and Jennifer and great-grandchildren Joshua, Orion, Rhyett and Beau survive. She was preceded by her husband, one brother and one sister Visitation hours ae scheduled from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday, July 26, 2018 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Pierceton.
