Helen Miller

Helen Margaret Miller died November 30, 2019 while resting in her room at Paddock Springs. She was 95 years old. Helen is survived by her loving children Jodi Snodgrass, Bob Miller, Toni Ayers. She is finally reunited with her children Richard Miller and Yolanda Justice and her brother Arden Metzger. Helen was born March 14, 1924 to Ralph E. Metzger and Flora Boocher Metzger in North Manchester, Indiana. She was born and raised German Baptist and later became a member of the Protestant Church of the Brethren. From her birthplace she moved north to Silver Lake, Winona Lake, and finally to her final resting place in Warsaw, Indiana. She was married to Joe Kline from 1942 until his death in 1944 and Loren Miller from 1948 until his death in 2001. Helen and Loren were blessed with five children. After graduating high school Helen did defense work for the WWII effort. She then went on to do bookkeeping for Miller and Sons Inc. After her children grew up she began golfing at Rozella Ford Golf Course, Stonehenge Golf, and Tippecanoe Lake Country Club and enjoyed three holes in one. Later in life she played bridge recreationally. Her funeral will be held Thursday, December 5, 2019 at 12:00 P.M. with a morning viewing from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, 2290 Provident Ct, Warsaw, Indiana 46580. Helen will be buried at the Oakwood Cemetery, 421 N Maple Ave, Warsaw, Indiana 46580. All are welcome to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Kosciusko County Hospice, K21 Foundation, or the Riley Children’s Foundation.
