Helen M. Maxwell

Helen M. Maxwell, age 92, of Warsaw, Indiana passed away Sunday, September 21, 2014 at 11:00 PM in Mason Health Care and Rehabilitation, Warsaw. She was born Aril 27, 1922 in Carroll County, IN to Samuel and Rose (Fife) Bechdolt. A former Camden, IN resident she resided in Warsaw, IN since 1968. She was united in marriage to Leonard Maxwell in March of 1939. Leonard preceded her on June 16, 1996. She worked on the family farm prior to moving to Warsaw and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Lower Deer Creek Church of the Brethren, Camden. Survivors include her daughter Karen (spouse Mark) Swinger of Warsaw, IN; grandchildren Melanie (spouse Mark) Vanlaningham of Mentone, IN and Bob Swinger of Warsaw, IN. In addition, great grandchildren Ben and Sam Vanlaningham and Emily (spouse Chad) Dennie survive. Visitation is scheduled from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Thursday, September 25, 2014 in Cree Funeral Home, 188 W. Main St. Camden, IN 46917. A Funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM Thursday with Mark Vanlaningham officiating. Interment will be in Musselman Cemetery, Camden. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, IN is entrusted with arrangements.
