Helen L. Himes, 94, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 8/24/2009 at 8:10 pm at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, Indiana. She was born on October 19, 1914 in Connorsville, Indiana. Helen was born to Clyde and Elizabeth (Yeazel) Lucas. She married Russell Himes on July 26, 1930 in Plymouth, Indiana. He preceded her in death in 1971. She moved to Warsaw from Benton Harbor, Michigan in 1948 and was a homemaker. Helen was also of the Pentecostal faith.She is survived by 1 Son; Vernon Himes, Warsaw, Indiana4 Daughters; Beverly Moody, Warsaw,IndianaDardanella (Richard) Yoder, Warsaw, IndianaSharon McNeese, Joelton, TennesseeCindy Himes, Warsaw, Indiana2 Sisters; Ruby Kessinger, Eau Claire, MichiganMargaret Getz, Michigan1 Brother; Pete Lucas, Berrien Springs, Michiganand numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren.Helen is also preceded in death by 2 Sons, 2 Daughters, 2 Sisters, 2 Brothers and 4 Grandchildren. Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Indiana on Thursday, August 27, 2009 at 11:00 am. Calling hours will be 4:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral chapel on Wednesday, August 26, 2009. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth, Indiana.
