Harry J. Meadows, age 70, of Mentone, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at 5:00 a.m. in Mason Health Care and Rehabilitation, Warsaw. Harry was born on November 24, 1948 in Clell, VA to William and Sarah Meadows. He was married to Bernice Jackson on July 21, 1967 in Honaker, VA. He attended Grundy High School in Grundy, VA. Harry worked in maintenance for Warsaw Foundry and retired after 42 years of employment. He was a member of the Harvest Community Church in Pierceton. Harry is survived by his wife of 52 years, Bernice Jackson Meadows, children; Jennifer (John) Williams of Akron, IN, Francis (Bo) Meadows of Mentone, IN, Nick (Chasity) Meadows of Leesburg, IN, siblings; Betty Charles of Vansant, VA, , Farley Meadows of Irving, TX, Judy Meadows of Oakwood, VA, Eddie Meadows of Madison, OH, Hank Meadows of Oakwood, VA, and Jerry Meadows of Swords Creek, VA. In addition, Harry is survived by his ten grandchildren; Bradley (Michelle) Horn, Brandon Horn, Anthony Williams, Gracie Williams, Bradley Miller, Joe Meadows, Tyler Meadows, Reggan Meadows, Owen Meadows and Aiden Meadows, as well as 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by siblings; Herman Meadows of Painesville, OH and James Meadows of Tazewell, VA. His funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 25, 2019 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Pastors Eric Trump, Kenny Crace, and Hedgel Perry will be officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday prior to the service at the funeral chapel. Interment will be private.
