Harold R. 'Butch' Thrash

Harold R. “Butch” Thrash 78, of Leesburg formally of Chandler, OK, passed away Wednesday June 15, 2011 at 5:10 pm at his residence.He was born on March 10, 1933 in Geary, OK to Howell “Buddy” and Buenos (Ayers) Thrash He was a Salesman for Mobile Homes and owned pet stores in Oklahoma City.Butch was a member of the Church of Christ.He was a graduate of Oklahoma State University, Tulsa. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.Butch loved Animals and he also raised Arabian horses. He is survived by his Daughter, Lori (and spouse Dave) Smoker of Leesburg, IN., a son David (and spouse Joan) Thrash of Omaha, NE. Sisters, LaDonna Mitchell of Wichita Falls, TX. and Dowana Smoot of Bethany, OK. Brothers, Ralph Thrash of Hutchinson, KS and Gary Thrash of Bethany, OK. Grandchildren, Seth, Carly, Dalton, Elizabeth, Rachael, David Jr. and Danny. He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister. A Memorial Service will be held at the 50Th Street Church of Christ, 6035 NW 50th Street, Oklahoma City, OK. On Friday, June 24, 2011 at 2:00 pm. Pastor Billy Adcox will officiate the service.
