Harold E. Laughlin

Harold E. Laughlin, 83, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 11/24/2009 at 8:14 PM at Kosciusko Community Hospital Warsdaw, Indiana. He was born on January 10, 1926 in South Bend, Indiana. Harold was born to Donald David and Rozella (Moore) Laughlin. He was a lifetime resident of Warsaw, Indiana. On February 28, 1947 he was united in marriage to Mabel Stiver, who preceded him. A former Gatke Corporation of Warsaw, Indiana employee for 32 years, he also was employed by Othy, Incorporated of Warsaw, Indiana for 18 years as an Instructor. He was a member for over 60 years at the First Brethren Church of Warsaw, Indiana. In addition, he was a former Youth Leader at the Church. Harold also was a volunteer firefighter for the Winona Lake Fire Department of Winona Lake, Indiana for several years. He is survived by his loving companion of several years Geraldine East of Warsaw, Indiana, his aunt Mary Schieffer of Tuscon, Arizona and several nieces and nephews. Harold was preceded by his parents, his wife and one brother and one sister. Pastor Bill Shipman of the First Brethren Church of Warsaw, Indiana will officate the services. Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel - Warsaw, Indiana on Monday, November 30, 2009 at 11:00 am. Calling hours will be 9:00 to 11:00 am ( 2 hours prior to service) on Monday, November 30, 2009. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery - Warsaw, Indiana. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel - Warsaw, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.
