Hargus Tackett

Hargus Tackett, age 82, of Warsaw, Indiana passed away Monday, December 4, 2017 at 8:48 PM in his residence. He was born March 4, 1935 in Floyd County, KY to Andrew and Addie (Blanton) Tackett. He was united in marriage to Evelyn Ervin on April 28, 1980 in Warsaw. He was a Warsaw City Employee and retired from the Street Department. He was a member of Victory Christian Church, Warsaw. He is survived by his Wife; Evelyn Tackett of Warsaw, Children; Wanda (spouse Bill) Hawkins of Trinity, NC, David (spouse Angie) Tackett of Warsaw, Donna Cloud of Sacramento, CA, Larry Tackett of Talma, IN, Mike Wren of OK, Terri (spouse Dale) Harger of Enid, OK, Cherie (spouse Jay) Taylor of Silver Lake, IN, Judi (spouse Tabor) Sumrall of Merced, CA, Tim (spouse Shelly) Tackett of Columbus, IN, David Swank of Warsaw, 37 Grandchildren, 14 Great-Grandchildren, 2 Brothers; Ray Tackett, and Frank (spouse Beverly) Tackett, 5 Sisters; Mandy Claybaugh of Huntington, IN, Polly (spouse Monroe) Allen of Packerton, IN, Fay Brunner of Palestine, IN, Kathleen (spouse James) Griffith of Warsaw, and Gerldine Blair of Warsaw. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Addie Tackett, 3 Brothers, 1 Son, 2 Grandchildren, and 4 Sisters. A Funeral Service is scheduled for Friday, December 8, 2017 at 11:00 AM in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Pastor Luis Quiroz will officiate the service. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
