Hal E. Smith

Hal E. Smith, 58, of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Warsaw Meadows Care Center. Born on August 22, 1963, in Warsaw, Indiana, Hal was the son of Ned and Marsha (Kelsey) Smith. He was a 1983 graduate of Warsaw Community High School. Hal was formerly employed at Kmart for 12 years.  He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw. Hal will be lovingly remembered by his sister Kelly Smith (Amanda Smalley); niece Cortney Spooner; nephews, Gabe and Griffin Tucker and Corry Spooner. He was preceded in passing by both parents, and one sister Linda Spooner. A Christian burial service in celebration of Hal’s life will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday January 14, 2022 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Father Jonathan Norton will be officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Masks are optional, and social distancing is encouraged. No food is permitted at this time.
