Goldie G. Pollock

Goldie G. Pollock, age 86, of Warsaw, Indiana passed away Wednesday March 14, 2012 at 9:30 PM in Miller’s Merry Manor Syracuse, IN. She was born November 11, 1924 in Kittanning, PA to Emmett and Bessie (Slonger) McClure. On December 22, 1967 in Fort Wayne, IN she was united in marriage to Kenneth “Skip” Pollock who preceded her in 1980. She was a member of the Warsaw Mennonite Church. She was a nurses’ aide and formerly employed by Alfran Nursing Home and Miller’s Merry Manor of Warsaw, IN. Goldie is survived by daughters Elizabeth M. (spouse Steve) Mast of North Webster, IN and Betty J. (spouse Roger) Kern of Syracuse, IN; daughter-in-law Jo Ellen (spouse Jack) Ritzert of OH; brother Clarence Bowser of PA; sisters Virginia Morrison, Dorothy Brown and Betty Heilman all of PA; grandsons Brian Mast and Lester Mast of North Webster, IN; 11 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great- grandchild. In addition to her husband, her parents, sons Jack “Jackie” Ritzert and James “Jimmy” Ritzert, 6 sisters, 1 brother, 1 granddaughter and 2 grandsons preceded her. Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Monday March 19, 2012 at Oakwood Cemetery Warsaw, IN. Private calling hours are scheduled. Casey Kern will officiate the service. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel Warsaw, IN is in charge of arrangements.
