Gloria A. Brubaker

Gloria A. Brubaker, age 63, of Pierceton, Indiana passed away at 10:00 pm on Monday November 28th, 2011 in Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home of Fort Wayne, Indiana. On June 5, 1948, Gloria was born in Wabash, Indiana to Charles Fredrick and Doris Loretta (Figert) England Jr. She graduated from Northfield High School in 1966 and then attended International Business College. Gloria married Gary E. Brubaker in 1970 in Wabash. She had several jobs through the years, including working for Star Financial Bank, Columbia City. She was also a homemaker. Gloria had resided in Pierceton for the past 35 years, where she was a member of Pierceton United Methodist Church and was active in the music ministry for the church. She also was a honorary member of the Pierceton Fire Department Auxiliary and a member of Golden April Home Ec Club, Pierceton. Gloria is survived by her husband, Gary E. Brubaker, Pierceton; 3 sons, Daniel E. (and spouse Tara) Brubaker, Fort Wayne, Matthew W. (and spouse Marsha) Brubaker, Pierceton and Timothy C. (and spouse Kari) Brubaker, Columbia City; 5 grandchildren, Jenna, Andrew, Mallory, Aidan and Emily; 1 sister, Becky (and spouse Joseph) England Patten, Phoenix, Arizona and numerous nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Andrew Charles England. Funeral services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 10:00 am with Pastor Holly White officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash. Visitation hours will be from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Friday, December 2, 2011 at the funeral chapel.
