Glenn Dale Helser, age 76, of Warsaw, Indiana passed away Monday, August 27, 2018 at 3:05 PM in Mason Healthcare and Rehabilitation, Warsaw. He was born June 6, 1942 in Warsaw, Indiana to Austin D. and Marcy (Manier) Helser. He was a 1960 graduate of Warsaw Community High School. On October 13, 1962 he was united in marriage, in Warsaw, to R. Joan Gosnell who survives. We was employed by Hand Industries from 1961 to 1980 when, in 1980, he founded Helser Metal Finishing which he continued to operate and own until his retirement in 2017. Glenn was a member of the Single Action Shooting Society, the National Muzzzeloading Association, a Life Member of the NRA and was the State of Indiana, Texas and Oklahoma State Champion Cowboy Shooter. In addition to being an avid motorcyclist and horseman, he was a Founding Member of Cutter’s Raider’s and a longtime benefactor of Paradise Pass Regulators which both promote Cowboy Single Action Shooting Sports. Notably, he was a “famous” dollar bill ring maker. Survivors include his children Lisa (companion Brian Bibler) Helser and Troy (spouse Rhonda) Helser, brother Laddie (spouse Sue) Helser and grandchildren Connor (fiancé Natalie Mowan) Helser and Casey (fiancé Cole Trombley) Helser all of Warsaw. He was preceded by a brother, Donnie. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Wednesday, September 5, 2018 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. His service will immediately follow at 6:00 PM Wednesday with Bryan Koorey officiating. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Single Action Shooting Society Scholarship Fund 215 Cowboy Way Edgewood, NM 87015
