Gladys S. Gebert, 96, of Pierceton, Indiana, died on 9/9/2010 at 12:55 pm at Parkview North Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was born on December 8, 1913 in Kosciusko County, Indiana. Gladys was born to Edward Charles and E. Grace (Hover) Polk. She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County.Gladys graduated from Pierceton High School in 1932 and then married Orville Gebert in September of 1933 in Warsaw. He preceded her in death on August 9, 1995. She worked in sales for W.R. Thomas and Singers. She was a member of Pierceton United Methodist Church.Gladys is survived by her Son; Jim Lee (and spouse Jane) Gebert, Pierceton2 Daughters; Rebecca Sue (and spouse Doug) Gregory, Fort WayneCarolyn Ann (and spouse Robert) Bethea, Edmond, Oklahoma8 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren.She is also preceded in death by an infant daughter, 1 sister, 2 brothers and 1 infant great grandson. Services will be held at Pierceton United Methodist Church, Pierceton on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at 11:00 am with Reverend Ed Gebert officiating.. Calling hours will be 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral chapel on Monday, September 13, 2010. Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Pierceton is in charge of arrangements.
