Gladys L. Wiard

Gladys L. Wiard, 87, of 207 North Columbia Street Warsaw, Indiana, died on 10/31/2009 at 4:20 AM at Miller's Merry Manor Country Manor - Warsaw. She was born on May 3, 1922 in Decatur, Michigan. Gladys was born to Jett Eldo and Mabel (Hayden) Bagley. She lived the majority of her life in Warsaw, Indiana. She was united in marriage to Norman L. Wiard on August 31, 1952 in Chicago, Illinois. Norman preceded her on January 21, 1994. Gladys was a homemaker and was formerly employed by Stewart Warner, Incorporated of Chicago, Illinois for 10 years. She was loyal member of the First Christian Church of Warsaw, Indiana and the Dorcas Society at First Christian Church. She is survived by her loving family, including, daughters Beth (Ken) Anderson of Warsaw, Indiana and Valerie (Dennis) Sabo of Granger, Indiana. One son Brian Wiard of Warsaw, Indiana; two sisters Lucille Fascinato of California and Peggy Covell of Illinois. In addition, she is survived by six grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Gladys was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother. Ronnie Sams of First Christian Church will officate the funeral service. Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel - Warsaw, Indiana on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 11:00 AM. Calling hours will be 4:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 3, 2009. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery - Warsaw, Indiana. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel - Warsaw, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.
