Georgia L. Ramey

Georgia L. Ramey, 79, of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021  at Lutheran Hospital Fort Wayne, Indiana. Born January 13, 1942, in Emma, Kentucky, Georgia was the daughter of Bill and Myrtle (Burchett) Canterbury. She was united in marriage to Thomas W. Ramey on August 27, 1960, in Emma Kentucky. She was formerly a teacher for the local elementary schools and worked also for Century 21 Real Estate. She attended the First Free Will Baptist Church of Kosciusko County and Warsaw Family Worship Center. Georgia is survived by her husband of 62 years, Thomas W. Ramey of Warsaw; three sisters, one brother, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in passing by both of her parents. A funeral service in celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday October 6, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with a viewing one hour prior to the service.  Pastor William Whitaker will be officiating the services. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. Masks are optional, and social distancing is encouraged. No food is permitted at this time.
