Genevieve M. “Jenny” Hart

. Genevieve M. “Jenny” Hart, 91 of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 12:22 pm Wednesday, August 3, 2016 in Warsaw Meadows Care Center. On May 4, 1925, she was born in Kosciusko County to Louis J. and Hazel M. (Jenkins) Kraatz. She was united in marriage to Robert L. Hart on June 1, 1947 in Warsaw. He preceded her in death on July 18, 1994. A lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Jenny graduated from Mentone High School, Class of 1943. After high school, she began her employment with NIPSCO, retiring in 1983. After retiring from NIPSCO, she worked for First National Bank of Warsaw in the Trust Department and then Ace Hardware. Jenny was a member of Walnut Creek United Methodist Church, Warsaw. She also was a member of Good Neighbors Sunday School Class at Walnut Creek Church, Eastern Star, Modern Homemakers, Home-Ec Club, Red Hat Society and Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary. She is survived by two daughters, Kim Hart, Warsaw, Lynn (and spouse Kevin) Rose, Warsaw and her beloved cats. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, August 8, 2016 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with Pastor Greg Hiatt officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Oak Hill Cemetery, Hammond, Indiana. Visitation hours will be 1:00 -3:-00 pm Sunday, August 7, 2016 at the funeral chapel. Memorial contributions in Jenny’s name may be made to the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary, P.O. Box 1257, Warsaw, Indiana 46581-1257 or to the donor’s choice.
