Fred Harold Holst

Fred Harold Holst, 65, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 12/4/2010 at 1:25 am at his residence. He was born on September 25, 1945 in Jersey City, New Jersey. Fred was the son of Fred Henry and Marie (Krommenhoek) Holst. He graduated from Bergen County Technical and Vocational High School, Hackensack, New Jersey in 1963 and then graduated from Montclair State University, Montclair, New Jersey in 1974.He married Lois Cairney on September 21, 1968 in Kearney, New Jersey. He moved to Warsaw from New Jersey in 1985.Fred worked as a Senior Account Manager for Flint Group, Warsaw and was also a member of the Warsaw Bowling Association, Warsaw Bowling Association Hall of Fame and the Warsaw Little League of which he was a former trustee on the Board of Directors.Fred is survived by his Wife, Lois Holst, Warsaw3 Children; Fred Lawson Holst, WarsawAndrew William Holst, LeesburgSandra (Holst) Meerzo, Fort Wayne5 Grandchildren; Jacob Holst, Jevin Holst, Andrew Holst Jr., Carter Holst and Owen Meerzo.1 Sister; Marilyn Zogheb, Wayne, New Jersey.He was preceded in death by his Parents and a Nephew, David Zogheb. Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at 11:00 am with William Cairney officiating.. Calling hours will be 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral chapel on Wednesday, December 8, 2010. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, Indiana.
