Frances L. 'Frankie' Hughes

Frances L. “Frankie” Hughes, age 74, of Silver Lake, IN passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 10:10 PM in her son’s residence in Nappanee, IN. She was born January 2, 1937 in Bonanza, KY to Tom and Myrtle (Mann) Conley. Frankie was a Silver Lake, IN resident since 1945. On May 12, 1959 in Silver Lake, IN she was united in marriage to Elmer G. Hughes who preceded her January 7, 2003. She was a homemaker and a member of Living Hope Ministries of Warsaw, IN. In addition, she was a member of the Wednesday Night Bible Study at Living Hope and a lifetime member of the Sportsman’s and Farmer’s Conservation Club of Silver Lake, IN. She is survived by her daughter Penny (spouse Conley) Hall of Mentone, IN; her son Doug (spouse Mona) Hughes of Nappanee, IN; her sister Venus (spouse Alex) Macias of Sacremento, CA; 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was preceded by 1 daughter, 1 son, 1 grandchild, 2 brothers and 6 sisters. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, August 15, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Living Hope Ministries, 595 E. CR350 N. Warsaw, IN. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, August 14, 2011 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM AT THE CHURCH. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel Warsaw, IN is in charge of services.
