Floyd Gene Reffitt

Floyd Gene Reffitt, 78 of Warsaw, IN. went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. in Warsaw Meadows Care Center, Warsaw. He was born on July 4, 1936 to Dan and Martha (Marsillet) Reffitt in Floyd County, KY. He was united in married to Anna Belle Reffitt on September 17, 1955, who preceded him in death on August 20, 2013. Floyd was the youngest boy of 13 children. He loved having his family around him. He also enjoyed fishing snd hunting. He retired from Zimmer in 1997. He is survived by his 3 children, William “Danny” (and spouse Roxana) Reffitt of Warsaw, Lydia Sue (and spouse Dale) Manns of Warsaw and Cathy (and spouse Kris) Rapholtz of Akron, IN; 2 grandchildren, April (and spouse Darin) Tudor of Pierceton, IN and Trina (and spouse Robert) Springer of Warsaw, 1 great grandchild, Joseph Springer; also a sister Josephine Yates of Warsaw. He is preceded in death by 2 children, Diana Beavers and Floyd Gene Reffitt Jr. Visitation will be on Friday, November 14, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Funeral services will be on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel with Pastors William Whitaker and Terry Bradford officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. The family is requesting that the memorial contributions be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th floor, New York, NY 10001.
