Fannie Minnix

Fannie Minnix, 78, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 2/24/2011 at 6:52 am at Parkview Whitley Hospital Columbia City, Indiana. She was born on April 8, 1932 in Floyd County, Kentucky. Fannie was born to Clay and Annie (Whitaker) Shepherd. She moved to the Warsaw area in 1937.On January 3, 1949, she married Flim Minnix in Claypool, Indiana. He preceded her in death on January 31, 1999.Fannie worked as a Tool Crib Attendent for Zimmer Inc., for more than 20 years, retiring in 1993. She was also a member of New Hope Baptist Church of Kosciusko County as well as Gospel Hill Pentecostal Church, Silver Lake, Indiana.Fannie is survived by 1 Son; Paul Edward Minnix, Warsaw4 Sisters; Edna Bailey, North ManchesterRose Elliott, South WhitleyEthel Marie Shepherd, CaliforniaRuth Ann Sharpe, North Manchester9 Grandchildren5 Great GrandchildrenShe was also preceded in death by her Parents, 1 Daughter, 2 Sons; 5 Brothers and 2 Sisters. Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Indiana on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Myron Drent officiating.. Calling hours will be 2:00 - 8;00 pm at the funeral chapel on Monday, February 28, 2011. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, Indiana. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Indiana is in charge of arrangements. The family requests that memorial contributions are to be made to the family of Fannie Minnix, C/o Paul Minnix.
