Everett Thornsbury

Everett Thornsbury, age 77, of Warsaw, IN passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 5:01 PM in his residence. He was born May 17, 1940 in Prestonsburg, KY to Morris and Mary (Garrett) Thornsbury. On September 10, 1966, he was united in marriage to Carol Sue Stanley in Warsaw, IN. He worked at Hoosier Water Company for 32 years. He was a member of Lighthouse Pentecostal Church. He also was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars post #1126, and the Son’s of the American Legion post #49. Throughout his life he loved his family dearly. In addition, he loved music, hunting, gardening, fast-pitch softball, horse shoes, euchre, shuffle board, turkey shoot, and his Dog’s Gismo and Festus. He is survived by his Wife; Carol Thornsbury of Warsaw, Son; Greg Thornsbury of Warsaw, Brother; Gary (spouse Ellen) Thornsbury of Warsaw, Sister; Hester Layne of Elizabethon, TN. He was preceded in death by 4 Brothers, 3 Sisters, and his Parents. Visitation is scheduled from 12:00-1:00 PM Friday, January 12, 2018 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A Funeral Service will follow immediately after at 1:00 PM. Pastor Glen Hughes will officiate the service. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
