Ernestine Mae Shepherd

Ernestine Mae (Leedy) Shepherd, 70 of Claypool, Indiana passed away Friday January 12, 2018 at 5:47 p.m. in her residence. She was born on October 15, 1947 to Ernest Wilson and Mary Elizabeth (Spradlin) Leedy in Warsaw, Indiana. She has been a Claypool residence for 51 years. Ernestine was a 1966 graduate of Warsaw High School. She was united in marriage to Monroe Shepherd on January 1, 1975 in Silver Lake, Indiana. She was a production Control Clerk for Korth Furniture Inc. for 10 years. Ernestine is survived her daughter, Teresa (spouse Dennis) Crews of Silver Lake, Indiana; a brother, Kelly Leedy of Etna Green, Indiana; Three foster grandchildren; a niece, Donna Swanson, Columbus, Indiana and a nephew, Darrell Ellis, Anderson, Indiana. She is preceded in death by her husband, Monroe “Buddy” Shepherd on October 6, 2017 and her parents. A visitation will be held on Tuesday January 16, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Indiana. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday January 17, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Indiana with Pastors Glenn Hall and Hedgel Lee Perry officiating. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery, Claypool. The family is kindly requesting that the memorial contribution be made to Kosciusko County Cancer Care Fund, P.O.
