Emery J. Brandenburg, age 80, of Warsaw, went home to Heaven March 1, 2018, at 2:37 AM at Chapman Place, Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born to Edna (Floor) Brandenburg and Emery Brandenburg in Silver Lake, Indiana, on May 26, 1937. He was a 1955 graduate of Silver Lake High School. Emery was a member of Living Hope Ministries, where he took care of the lawn for 12 years. He was a loving husband, dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa. He is survived by his spouse Carole; children: Ron (Katrina) Brandenburg, Warsaw; Chad (Barb) Brandenburg, Elkhart, IN; Bambi (Scott) Maggard, North Manchester; Brenda Ayala, Indianapolis; JoAnn (Mike) Ball, Warsaw, and Tammy Brandenburg, Florida; 15 grandchildren and many grandkids; 2 sisters, Helen Huffman, Columbia City and Marjorie Ellenberger, Sidney. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Emery retired from DePuy in 2000 where he was a supervisor. He was inducted into the Kosciusko County Basketball Hall of Fame. Emery enjoyed doing yard work and playing Euchure. He will be lovingly missed by many. Visitation will be on Monday, March 5, 2018, from 5:00-8:00 PM at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Living Hope Ministries, Warsaw; with visitation one hour prior to the service. Pastor Hedgel Perry will officiate the funeral service. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. Memorials may be made to: Living Hope Youth Group, 595 East CR 350N, Warsaw, Indiana, 46580.
