Ellis Adams, 62, of Albion, Indiana, died on 1/20/2009 at 1:18 pm at Parkview Whitley Hospital, Columbia City, Indiana. He was born on March 3, 1946 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. Ellis was born to Hargos and Carrie (Whitaker) Adams. He lived most of his life in Silver Lake, Indiana. He was a factory worker and also attended Merriam Wesleyan Church, Merriam, Indiana.Ellis loved to sing, joke, tell stories and make people laugh. He was a good hearted man and loved to help people.He is survived by 2 Daughters: Lisa Avery, Albion, IndianaCarrie McGuire, Albion, Indiana2 Sons: Ellis Kelly Adams, Piereton, IndianaShane DeVon Adams, Churubusco, Indiana4 Sisters: Helen (Bill) Reynolds, Plymouth, IndianaOma Jean (Tom) Hall, Silver Lake, IndianaOpal (Henry Jr.) Arnett, Silver Lake, IndianaMary (Bill) Wadkins, Silver Lake, Indiana1 Brother: Merl Adams, Burket, Indiana12 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild.Ellis is preceded in death by his Parents, 1 Sister and 5 Brothers. Services will be held at Water of Life Church, Silver Lake, Indiana on Saturday, January 24, 2009 at 11:00 am . Calling hours will be 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral chapel on Friday, January 23, 2009. Burial will be at Merriam Christian Chapel Cemetery, Merriam, Indiana. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.
