Ellen Hatcher

Ellen Hatcher, age 79, of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2020 at 8:25 PM in Millers Merry Manor, Warsaw. Ellen was born on July 24, 1940 in Milford, Indiana to Raymond and Vera (Knoop) Smith. She was united in marriage to Samuel Hatcher in 1971 in Kosciusko County. She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County. Ellen enjoyed reading the bible, playing cards, crocheting, and visiting with friends and family. She loved spending time with her family, and she was especially fond of her grandchildren in which she dearly loved . Ellen was a member of the Living Hope Ministries Church, Warsaw. Ellen is survived by children, Melinda (Rodney Eggers) Hodges of Elkhart, IN, David (Sandy) Hatcher of Warsaw, IN, Timothy Hatcher of Warsaw, IN, , Melisa (Donald) Stevens of North Manchester, IN, Mary (Dale) Shepherd of Yuma, AZ, Michelle (Josh Hamman) Hatcher of Syracuse, IN. In addition, she was survived by 21 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both her parents, husband, and 2 great-grandchildren. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00-3:00 and from 5:00 -7:00 PM on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Living Hope Ministries Church, Warsaw. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Living Hope Ministries, Warsaw with Pastor Lewis Wedstel Shepherd officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. All arrangements are entrusted to McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
