Elaine Evans

V. Elaine (Cook) Evans, age 68, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away July 9, 2011 at 11:50pm in her residence. She was born October 27, 1942 in Warsaw, IN to Paul Orlando and Mabel Naomi (Lackey) Cook. She was a 25 year resident of Fort Wayne, IN formerly of Warsaw, IN. In Warsaw on April 5, 1986 she was united in marriage to Paul Evans. She was formerly Employed by United Telephone System in the Accounting Department. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church of Fort Wayne. Elaine is survived by her husband Paul Evans of Fort Wayne, IN and a brother David Cook of Leesburg, IN. She was preceded by brothers Joseph E. and W. Edward Cook and sisters Dixie Stabler and Gloria Moore. Funeral services will be held Friday July 15, 2011 at 2:00 pm in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel Warsaw, IN. Calling hours are scheduled from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Friday. Pastor Todd Spain will officiate the services. Interment will be in Cook’s Chapel Cemetery Warsaw, IN.
