Effie Jean England Walls O'Connell, 68, of 314 East Leedy Street, Warsaw, Indiana, died on 12/7/2009 at 3:12 PM at Miller's Merry Manor, Warsaw, Indiana. She was born on October 16, 1941 in Claypool, Indiana. Effie was born to Charlie and Nancy (Reffitt) England. She was married to Robert L. Walls Sr. from 1960 - 1968 then she was married to Pete O'Connell from 1970-1975.She was employed with Zimmer Inc. from 1976 to 1997 when she retired.Effie was survived by2 Sons; Robert L. (and wife Candy) Walls Jr., Syracuse, IndianaMark M. (and wife Kerrie) Walls, Winona Lake, Indiana2 Granddaughters; Kayla Renae Walls and Ashley Nicole Walls and a Step-Grandson, Shane Holloway1 Brother, Amos (and wife P.K.) England, Pierceton, IndianaMany Nieces, Nephews, Great and Great-Great Nieces and Nephews.She was preceded in death by 2 Brothers, 4 Sisters and a Nephew.A nature lover her entire life, she became an avid reader after retiring. her favorite authors were V.C. Andrews and Stephen King. Living a very simple old fashioned life, her pleasures were cooking for family, friends and neighbors. Spending time with her granddaughters, sons and their wives, family and friends who helped her enjoy her final years of life. Always having a pat on the head, a kind greeting and some food for all the “stray” animals that wandered into her yard gave her great pleasure and enjoyment and her “Little Buddy” her own kitty, Pookie, was truly a joy and blessing to her. Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Indiana on Friday, December 11, 2009 at 11:00 am with Pastor Glen Hughes officiating.. Calling hours will be 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral chapel on Thursday, December 10, 2009. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, Indiana.
