Edward Warren, 96 of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 3:05 pm Sunday, October 10, 2015 in Millers Merry Manor, Warsaw. On December 24, 1918, he was born in Kosciusko County, Indiana to Ora Edward and Julia (Laughlin) Warren. He was united in marriage to Marjorie Ellen Long on April 15, 1953 in Columbia City, Indiana who preceded him in death on November 17, 1999. A lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Edward worked in construction as a carpenter before working for Warsaw Foundry until his retirement at the age of 67. He was a World War II Veteran of the U.S. Army, where he received a Bronze Star. Edward also was a member of American Legion Post #49, the Elks Lodge and the Moose Lodge all of Warsaw. He is survived by four daughters, Barbara Kiem, Warsaw, Gloria (and spouse Clayton) Kerchenfaut, Warsaw, Sharon King, Bluffton and Alice Marshall, Warsaw; his son, Matt Gibson, Warsaw; his sister, Irene Bules, Florida; ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. Edward was also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Christy Kerchenfaut. Services will be at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Kosciusko County Cancer Care Fund, 2170 North Pointe Drive, Warsaw, Indiana 46580 or to Kosciusko County Homecare and Hospice, P.O. Box 1196, Warsaw, Indiana 46581-1196. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw was entrusted with the arrangements.
