Edward L. Starner

Edward L. Starner, 51 of Warsaw died on Friday, March 11, 2011 at 10:45 a.m. in Masons Health and Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw.Ed was born on January 14, 1960 in Dayton Ohio to William and Dian (Hoodelmier) Starner.He was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County.Ed worked for Zimmer Inc. for 23 years as a group leader in Polymer Molding.He was a member of the Moose Lodge and Eagles Lodge both of Warsaw.After graduating Warsaw High School in 1978, he attended Indiana State University of Terre Haute, Indiana where he was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity of ISU. Ed was an avid fisherman, Chicago Bears and Cubs Fan. He was also a follower of local high school sports and IU basketball.Ed is survived by his parents Steve and Dian Cartwright of Pfafftown, North Carolina, his sister Amy Jo (and spouse Tim “Gooner”) Goon and nephew Derek Goon all of Warsaw, IN. He was preceded in death by his father on May 8,2010 Visitation will be Monday March 14, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel-Warsaw. The services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel- Warsaw on Tuesday March 15, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Following the service we will go in procession to Oakwood Cemetery Chapel for a committal service. Burial will be private. Chaplain Denny Bollenbacher will conduct the services.
