Edna Miller

Edna Miller, 93 of Kokomo and formerly of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 4:35 am Thursday, May 26, 2016 in Golden Living Center, Sycamore Village, Kokomo, Indiana. On May 16, 1923, she was born in Breathitt County, Kentucky to Lige and Mille (Shepard) Joseph. She was united in marriage to Noah Miller on September 3, 1938 in Breathitt County, Kentucky, who preceded her in death on January 2, 1997. Edna moved to Warsaw from Breathitt County, Kentucky in 1964. She worked for United Technologies, North Manchester until her retirement in 1986. She was a member of Tippecanoe Baptist Church, Tippecanoe and also attended New Beginnings Church and World Outreach, Warsaw. Edna is survived by four daughters, Christine (and spouse Joe) Justice, Pierceton, Madeline (and spouse Bob) Myers, Fort Wayne, Ruth Poe, North Manchester, Renee Contreras, Warsaw; two sons, Troy (and spouse Georgia) Miller, Kokomo, Mike (and spouse Linda) Miller, North Manchester; one sister, Elorie Miller, McGuffey, Ohio; one brother, Claude Joseph, McGuffey, Ohio; fifteen grandchildren, thirty two great grandchildren and twelve great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, three sisters and three brothers. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, May 31, 2016 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with Pastor Ron Patrick officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. Visitation hours will be from 4:00 -7:00 pm Monday, May 30, 2016 in the funeral chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Edna Miller Memorial Fund, C/o McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, Indiana 46580.
