Edna G. Mccool

Edna G. McCool, 80 of Pierceton, Indiana passed away at 2:36 am on Friday, August 23, 2013 in her residence. On August 11, 1933, she was born in Carrollton, Alabama to Melrose and Hattie (Pritchett) Brandon. She was united in marriage to Colie McCool on May 12, 1949 in Columbus, Mississippi, who survives. Edna moved to Warsaw in the early 50’s, where she was employed by R.R. Donnelley and Sons Inc., retiring in 1993. She was a caring and tender hearted woman who loved her family and was a good wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed fishing, gardening, sewing, crocheting and being outside. Edna is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Colie McCool, Pierceton; six children, Bobby (and spouse Susie) McCool, Toccoa, Georgia, Mary (and spouse Johnny) Isaac, North Webster, James (and spouse Rhonda) McCool, Warsaw, Janice Osborn, Fort Wayne, Barbara (and spouse Junior) Isaac, Pierceton and Jimmy Wolfe, Mattoon, Illinois; one sister, Laura Smith, Warsaw; two brothers, Robert Brandon, Warsaw and Kenny Brandon, Etna Green and ten grandchildren. A funeral service will be at 11:00 am Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with Pastor Jim Baughman officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton. Visitation hours will be from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 pm Monday, August 26, 2013 in the funeral chapel.
