Douglas E Neville

A devoted father, brother, uncle, employee and friend passed away on July 15th at the age of 72 in Warsaw, IN. Doug was born in Evergreen Park, IL to Edward and Marjorie Neville. His life was filled with people, including his son, Eric Neville of Franklin, IN, his siblings. Lori Neville of Warsaw and Rick (Janet) Neville from Eden Prairie, MN. He had a fan club of nieces, nephews, cousins and customers who all loved his charm and personality.

Doug graduated from Warsaw High School in 1970 and Ball State University where he played on the Golf teams and successfully competed in many regional and national golf competitions as an amateur.

Doug was the personification of fun and friendships. An epic storyteller, he enjoyed sharing a good laugh with friends and family. A friendly, but serious competitor. He will be remembered as such with all who engaged him in Gin Rummy or a Golf Nassau. He was a collector, not only of baseball cards, but also “collected” friends in his personal and professional life. He was an avid White Sox fan. He will be missed by friends, family and business associates.

Our family (and Doug) are so grateful to all of his Doctors and caregivers, who helped him get through and extend his quality of life these last few years.

A celebration of life is planned for Saturday, Sept 28, 2024. 2 – 6 PM at Rozella Ford Golf Course 1700 Rozella Road, Warsaw, IN 46580. In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. www.lls.org
