Douglas Charles Jones

Douglas Charles Jones, 53, of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021 in Lake County. Born on April 13, 1968 in Valparaiso, Indiana, Doug was the son of Dick and Cheryl (Lange) Jones. Doug was a resident of Warsaw for 50 years. He formerly worked as a Sales Representative for Zimmer & Biomet and currently was a Sales Representative for Carris Reels, Inc. He enjoyed his opportunities to explore the United States through his work travel over the years. Doug attended Warsaw Community Church, spent his summer days on Winona Lake, and played countless rounds of golf at courses across northern Indiana. He graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 1986 and Valparaiso University in 1990. At Valpo, he followed in his dad’s footsteps as a Crusader baseball player and Brother of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. Doug is survived by his son, Jordan Jones of Lafayette; brother, Don Jones of Naperville, IL; and his father, Dick Jones of Henderson, NV. He was preceded in passing by mother, Cheryl. A visitation is planned from 4:00 to  7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Interment is Private.
