Douglas Blanton, Sr. age 67 of Pierceton, Indiana passed away June 7, 2012 at 1:23 PM in Lutheran Hospital Fort Wayne, IN. He was born June 20, 1944 in Swamp Branch, KY to William Martin and Lilly V. (Caudill) Blanton. He was united in marriage to Debrah Hall on November 6, 1972 in Warsaw, IN. He was a former foundryman and employed in Line Production at Maple Leaf Farms of Milford, IN. He was a Kosciusko County resident since 1962 and member of First Freewill Baptist Church of Sidney, IN. He is survived by his wife Debrah Blanton, sons Douglas Blanton, Jr. and Bradley J. (spouse Amanda) Blanton all of Pierceton, IN; a sister Violet Schenske of Kentucky and grandchildren Samantha, Trece, Breanna, Bradley, Jr. and Drake Blanton. Two brothers preceded him. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Monday June 11, 2012 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel Warsaw, IN. Calling will be one hour prior to the service.
