Dorothy Jean Ring

Dorothy Jean Ring, 57, of Claypool, IN., died on 2/28/2009 at 10:57 AM at Kosciusko Community Hospital Warsaw, IN.. She was born on April 5, 1951 in Warsaw, IN.. Dorothy was born to Harold and Wilma (Jettman) Scott. On May 23 1971, in Warsaw, IN., Dorothy was united in marraige to D. Kent Ring. She was a 1969 Warsaw Community High School graduate. Dorothy was employed by the Warsaw Community School System for over 25 years. She was a loving wife, a caring mother, and a doting grandmother. Dorothy was a active member of the First United Methodist Church, Warsaw, IN. and Tri-Kappa Sorority. Surviving are her husband, D. Kent Ring-Claypool, IN., sons Brian (and spouse Karri)-New Castle, IN. and Brent (and spouse Meena)-Rochester, NY. and a grandson, Brayden Ring-New Castle, IN..Dorothy is also survived by a brother George (and spouse Jane) Scott-Fort Wayne, IN.. She was preceded in death by her parents. Pastor Tom Ream will officate the services.Pallbearers include: John Hall, Kent Kleeman, Keith Cook, Phil Barkey, Mike Reed, Lee Harman, Steve Shirey, and Dick Wright. Honorary Pallbearers are: Gary Bailey and Jim Miller. Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel - Warsaw on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at 10:00 AM. Calling hours will be 2-8 pm on Tuesday, March 3, 2009. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery - Warsaw, IN. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel - Warsaw is in charge of arrangements.
