Dorothy Rankin, 86, of Warsaw passed away peacefully at 12:05 am May 19, 2018 in Warsaw Meadows. Dorothy (Dottie) was born on July 8, 1931 in Olean NY to Robert and Beatrice ( Neault) Sutch. The family later made their home in Muskegon Mi. She attended school in N. Muskegon where she met the love of her life, Graham. They recently celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary. Dottie and Graham raised five children; Robert, Richard, Leslie, Chris and Bill. The family frequently enjoyed camping vacations at Lake Michigan and Dottie and Graham Instilled in their children the love of outdoors and a sense of adventure. After moving to Indiana Dorothy worked at Zimmer International Corp from 1975 as an Administrative Assistant until her retirement. She is survived by her husband Graham: Robert (Mely) Rankin - Clarkston MI, Richard (Barbara) Rankin, Portland OR, Leslie (Steven) Hepler, Warsaw, Chris (Julie) Rankin, Warsaw and William Rankin, Phoenix, AZ, brother Robert Sutch, Jackson, MI and brother-in-law Robert Rankin, Spring Lake, IN. In addition, 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren survive. Calling hours are scheduled from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, Warsaw on Thursday, May 31, 2018. A Funeral Mass will immediate follow at 3:00 PM in the Church. The Rev. Canon Richard Kallenberg will celebrate the Mass. Arrangements have bee entrusted to McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
